I left at the end of Wyatt and Benner's wedding with a full heart. These two lovely brides and their people are full of life and love and realness.
After a morning run, the day started with a foot washing ceremony in Hyalite Creek. Surrounded by friends and family collected from all of their former and current homes around the country, Wyatt and Benner went into their wedding day grounded and connected.
The ceremony, officiated by Wyatt's dad, brought everyone to tears with their vows and back to laughter with a hand fasting ceremony that took two tries. Other highlights were their Ring Bear dog Sully, readings by close friends, and Benner tipping Wyatt into an aisle dip on their way out.
A perfectly timed storm rolled through, right after the aspen grove cocktail hour was over and everyone was safely under the tent for dinner. It left behind a rainbow for the farm fresh dinner and toasts. Wyatt serenaded Benner, along with her sisters and nephew, and they glowed in the sunset for their first dance. I got to steal them away for some photos under a beautiful purple sky sunset.
The bride's changed into their dancing clothes and make a second entrance to one of the best dance parties I've seen in a minute.
Thank you, my friends, for having me along for the ride!
